Marni for H&M Spring 2012

H&M announced new collaboration with Italian brand Marni for spring 2012.

Yesss! I love their bold prints, patterns and mixing of colors, perfect for spring ;) This is the one collaboration I am exited about and might just step in line to snap some pieces, we'll see :D

“For women, the colours are vivid and the prints are bold, be they African inspired or simpler colour blocks. The silhouettes are all Marni staples, with full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knit, and fabrics range from silk to crisp cotton poplin. To finish the complete look the collection also includes jewellery, shoes, bags and scarves. For men, the colours and fabrics are softened for a relaxed take on menswear staples that is truly Marni. The use of print is subtle, often as a lining or as a contrast detail for shirts, the silhouette a modern and relaxed take on masculine classics.”

I got this dress from H&M and I love it! 

I have been eyeing it for a while after I first saw it on blogger Lene Orvik (sorry, I can't find the picture of the outfit). It looks quite bit darker and shorter in person.  Otherwise, it's cute, quite neutal and goes really good with black, which I love to wear. Score ;)

Michelle Williams getting into costume as Marilyn Monroe for the movie My Week With Marilyn. I am looking forward to seeing it and I think she looks spectacular as Marilyn.

Rihanna's designing for Emporio Armani

Rihanna's collaboration with Armani dosen't include just modeling for them and being the face of the brand, she also designed a capsule collection (just a few pieces) for Emporio Armani. 

As Armani spokesperson said, this collection is: 'Positive with a slightly rock feel, fabulously sexy with a strong masculine edge.'

The collection includes two T-shirts, two pair of jeans, a black leather biker jacket and a bag.

Pieces are quite basic and easy to incorporate into anyones wardrobe. My two favourites are blue jeans and white R T-shirt (picture below the sketch).

Everybody loves prints

Here we have Obama working a print shirt ,more specifically, Indonesian Tunic in Bali. 

I think is so cool to see presidents and state officials in something other than the regular suit and a tie.
